Engage with primary sources from the Dole Archives! Investigate constituent letters from Kansans in 1969 about changing the voting age from 21 to 18 with the 26th Amendment. A mock debate allows your students to deliberate on the “Senate floor” and advance discussion on voting rights with valid points for each side. Other primary source activities will be presented such as additional student-written constituent letters, other research topics, and a new endeavor from the Dole Archives – an archives-oriented digital breakout game.
